Yup, according to Janet Napolitano, head of the Department of Homeland Security it looks like lot of people are under suspicion.
The Department of Homeland Security issued a report sent to law enforcement across the country. The report highlights specific groups of people as highrisk threats. I wish I was joking, but I’m not. The high risk groups, the ones that Homeland Security sees as a threat to America’s security include;
- Those that support Pro-Life; the ones that do NOT want to kill babies.
- Those that support limited government; the ones opposed to spending trillions of dollars without even knowing what we’re spending it on.
- Those that express concern over the government considering changes to second amendment rights.
- Those expressing concern over illegal immigration; the report is specific on this. They don’t say immigration, they say illegal immigration.
- Those that have served in the United States Military.
I find it rather disturbing that the government is targeting groups of people that represent very positive ideology as potential terrorists.
When challenged about the report, Janet Napolitano said she stood behind it.
I am beginning to think that the biggest threats to America hold elected office and in Janet Napolitano’s case were appointed by an elected official.
I suppose if I wasn’t on the watch list before, this post ought to do the trick. I am comforted by the fact that I’ll be on the same list as hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of other patriotic American citizens.
